We’re glad you’re joining the Birthright Israel community. We take your privacy seriously. This notice explains what we do with your information and your rights under data protection laws.

Birthright Israel is a not-for-profit organization, registered in Israel providing the gift of a 10 day educational group trip to Israel for Jewish young adults between the ages of 18 to 26.

- What We Collect and Why
To send you our newsletter and information about Birthright Israel 10 Day Trip, we collect your name, email address, mobile phone and age. We will use your mobile phone number only closer to your eligibility to the trip. Because this is a Birthright Israel newsletter, your membership implies a religious affiliation. This is considered sensitive information, and we process it only to provide you with relevant community updates and event invitations.
- Who Has Access?
Your data is stored securely. It is only accessible by the specific youth team and our service providers, who are also under the obligation to comply with this policy.

We never sell your data or share it with third parties for any other purpose.

You are in control of your data. You have the right to:

- Correction:If we have the wrong email or name, let us know and we’ll fix it.
- The Right to withdraw your consentand unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of any email. We will then delete all your information from our active lists.

We apply industry best practices to ensure information security of our systems and data and protect them from unauthorized access.
- This policy is governed by the laws of Israel.
- Notifying parents
If you are under the age of 16 we would like to notify your parents about you joining our community to make sure they are ok with it.
This privacy policy applies specifically to collecting information about “young candidates”. In general to our processing activities applies our “Privacy Policy”.
